Prosecco & Pickleball

Prosecco and Pickleball can be anyone’s aesthetic.

I prefer a timeless, minimal mix of luxury and simplicity- a vibe that you can replicate for summers to come. (Aka: DON’T donate your pickleball paddles after two games.)

The Place(s):

My version: Newberg, OR

Can be: Anywhere with a tennis court and a farmer’s market

The Plan:

1. Start your day by visiting your local Farmer’s Market to pick up a small variety of fresh fruits for snacking. (I’d go for cherries – they pair perfectly with our theme of Prosecco and pickleball.)

Estimated Cost: $15

If you’re in Yamhill County between May and September, make sure to stop by the Wednesday Market on the corner of 2nd and College streets. Here you’ll  find the cutest local vendors offering  fresh produce, baked goods, jewelry, and flowers. Plus, parking is a breeze! There’s a public lot just a block away, behind Critter Cabana and Pulp & Circumstance, and plenty of street parking if that lot fills up.

2. Next, swing by the grocery store to grab some Oregon sparking wine (like this one) and an adult version of nostalgic popsicles- the fruitier the better. They’ll be the perfect refreshment after a few rounds of Prosecco and pickleball.

Estimated Cost: $35-60

3. Then, head over to any open tennis court and get ready for a fun, vibe-y, and sunshine-filled late afternoon game or two of Prosecco and pickleball. It’s all about enjoying the moment, getting a good workout in, and having a great time.

Estimated Cost: $0

4. After your game, wind down by hitting up Barley and Vine, Ruddick Wood, or Social Goods for a local craft beer or refreshing cocktail. It’s the perfect way to cap off a day of Prosecco and pickleball.

Estimated Cost: Varies
